Lillian Tay is Vice President at VERITAS Design Group, an award-winning architecture and multi-disciplinary design practice based in Kuala Lumpur. Lillian oversees design at VERITAS, leading key projects in residential, hospitality and workplace architecture, transportation and urban design.
VERITAS aspires to create responsible, sustainable and resilient architecture that uplifts lives and inspires appreciation of the local place and culture. Their projects include Putrajaya Sentral, KL MRT stations, Digi HQ, One Sentral, W Hotel, Star Residences, Angsana Penang, Saloma Link and Oxley Towers. VERITAS also contributed as part of the masterplan team for Nusantara in Kalimantan.
As PAM President 2019-20, Lillian sought to promote the expertise of Malaysia’s professional architects and enhance opportunities for architects to serve and contribute meaningfully to nation building.
Trained at Princeton University, USA, Lillian worked in New York before returning to Kuala Lumpur where she has been a director at VERITAS since 1995.
Mr. Chang Huai-Yan

Chang Huai-yan is the founder of Salad Dressing. He leads a practice that leverages on the flux of humanity during this post-Anthropocene transition. He is inspired by contemporary culture that is defined by information technology, genomic science and cosmic explorations. By magnifying human’s original limited cognitive ability through machines, the studio challenges a change in bio-ethnics
Ar. Quentin Sim
LIMAU.LIFE Singapore
Ar. Quentin Sim is a Singapore-registered architect and co-founder of digital design and research studio limau.life. Prior to that he has practiced architecture at WOHA and was involved in an array of medium to large scale projects with a focus on low-energy buildings, social and ecological sustainability.
Through his time at WOHA, Quentin has lead various award-winning projects such as the Singapore Pavilion at World Expo 2020 Dubai and Pan Pacific Orchard hotel. With an interest in exploring integration of digital experiences, technologies and systems in the built environment, he was deeply involved in the conception and implementation of the smart pavilion framework in the Singapore Pavilion.
Mr. Tan Yoong Heng
Arup Singapore
Yoong Heng is Arup’s Singapore Country Leader and brings 23 years of in-depth knowledge and experience to businesses across Southeast Asia. His storied career brought him from underground space planning to MRT and airport development, from coastal adaptation and resilience to the master planning of various transformative and sustainable precincts and projects. Yoong Heng strongly advocates the need for green, resilient, and innovative digital solutions that better align with the sustainable development. He has led Arup as one of the first signatories of the sustainability initiative Construction Declares in Asia. Yoong Heng has also been lauded with multiple accolades particularly for his contributions to Singapore’s underground MRT network.
Mr. Kabi Subramaniam
Arup Singapore
Kabi leads the Asset Services team in Arup’s Singapore office and is the firm’s regional building retrofit skills leader. He has managed a range of building retrofit and repurposing projects that have brought him on projects across Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. A well-recognised façade engineer, Kabi has helped deliver major work from concept through to construction of new build façades in Singapore and worldwide. Driving a risk-based approach to the assessment and maintenance of existing building façades, he has helped clients to future-proof their businesses with long-term operation plans that are conscientious about physical and transitional risks from climate change.

Born and raised in Indonesia, Asti has practiced architecture for over 20 years in the US and in Singapore. As Director and founding partner at SCSY Studio, Asti was able to hone her expertise in crafting luxury hospitality and bespoke residential environments. Based in Singapore, SCSY is a boutique design studio that operates throughout Asia and beyond
At SCSY, the organization strive to craft ideas that are both contextual and contemporary, and to imagine how architecture can transform unique experiences in ways that respond to the locality. Every project starts collaboratively on the drawing board, imbued with a narrative that gives essence and a sense of place.
Mr. Chew Kok Yong
THE AFTERNAUT GROUP Singapore
Kok Yong is one of the co-founders of The Afternaut Group, an experience design consultancy based in Singapore. He has led a wide variety of design and build projects in China and Singapore, creating experiences that make a positive impact on the community. The projects innovate experiential concepts and incorporate elements of business, technology, spatial design, sustainability and user experience.
Mr. Guido Bigolin
SOG DESIGN Singapore
Guido is a creative designer with more than 14 years of experience. He currently heads up the SOG design Singapore office. Passionate about innovative design, he is constantly looking for new and exciting ways to enhance and modernize the build environment industry.
Leading notable projects across Europe and South-east Asia, he has developed a broad range of expertise from large mixed use and TOD developments to masterplans, bespoke interior designs etc. He has worked on projects in China, India, South East Asia, Middle east, Spain, Italy and UK.
Guido’s portfolio with SOG includes a range of notable work, including the award winning 27 Summit, Starfish Masterplan in Phu Quoc Vietnam, Argon Office Campus in Bangalore India etc.
Ar. Sibarani Sofian
URBAN+ Indonesia
“A passionate urban designer, planner and business leader with extensive experience in various urban projects in Asia, especially South East Asia and Indonesia. Focus on executing sustainable urban development based on integrated multi-disciplinary approach. Sibarani has gained vast experience while working at firms such as SOM, RSP, EDAW and AECOM. He contributed in various award-winning projects in South East Asia and helped in pioneering practice and business for the firms.
Sibarani pioneered AECOM Design & Planning Singapore as Director of Master Planning developing a full team for South East Asia. In 2011 he moved to AECOM Indonesia as Director to grow Design and Planning studio and established a strong presence in the country. In 2017 Sibarani found URBAN+ spearheading on strategic urban projects in Indonesia. In 2019 he and team won the National Capital City Urban Design Competition titled “Nagara Rimba Nusa”.
Sibarani sit as advisors in several Cities and Regencies in Indonesia, various Ministries and institutions. He is now part of He initiated the formation of Indonesia Urban Designer Association (IARKI) in 2019 which he is now serving as Secretary General.
